Overview

This camp is the first winter camp created in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, and it takes place within the Portes du Soleil, ski area renowned for its immense domain between Switzerland and France. This snowboard camp in Les Crosets has been created for those wishing to develop their level of freestyle to the max! You will be coached by professional snowboarders who also have experience in sport education. As well as improving your freestyle skills in the snow park, you will also be taught how to build jumps in the backcountry.

Terrain

Les Crosets offers one of the best snowparks in Switzerland. As well as a perfect installation accommodating for all levels of snowboarding within the park, this ski resort is reputed for its freeride. Groups of internationally known snowboarders, to name but a few, Romain de Marchi, Trevor Andrew, Jules Reymond and Nicolas Müller, are often in the area for filming with the Crew Absinthe, or doing photo shoots for numerous European magazines.

The Park offers:

• beginner line (flat rails, bumps, small jumps)
  
• ladies line (short rails, small jumps, corner jumps)
  
• evolution line (rainbow rails, medium jumps, corner jumps, quarter pipe, wall ride)
  
• professional line ( kinky rails, big jumps, corner jumps, quarter pipe, wall ride)

So you will progress in these lines at your own speed.

Accommodations

The Palladium infrastructure provides for a large array of activities and events, all under one roof and in a truly spectacular setting. This is a one-stop destination for sports, culture and free-time fun.

This multi-functional complex houses 2 restaurants, seminar and conference rooms, a two-star hotel with 80 beds, a multi-purpose room with stage, exhibition and conference halls, tennis courts, a swimming pool, an indoor ice-skating rink (open all year), a curling hall, fitness rooms and a wellness centre (coming soon).

Agenda / Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Champéry, discover the resort and its accommodation. In the evening, there will be a meeting with the Kosta5 team. (For those who arrive earlier, there is the possibility to spend the first day out on the slopes).

Day 2 to 6:
After a full breakfast, it’s up on the slopes. Depending on the snow and weather conditions, we will go either to the snow park, or out into the backcountry to build our own jump.
Back at the hotel in the evening, there will be some video correction.
Also, our sponsors have some surprises in hold for you throughout the day, and the evening!!!

Day 7:
The camp ends here! Everyone can either go back home or have a final day up on the mountain.

Prices: 595 EUR

Registration deadline: 3 months before

The package includes:

• Accommodation with breakfast and evening meal
• Ski pass
• Coaching

The package does not include:

• Snowboard material (possibility to rent or buy in the resort)
• Transport from your home to Champéry (possible to organise transport, info@kosta5.ch)
• Travel and accident insurance (available on the website)
• Airplane ticket
